Hi Everybody,
I have 3 queries. Please please help me out. I am in
urgent need to fix these.
(1) I need to modfy linkUpDownNotifications backend. I am working on switch
port interfaces, and to get to know the true state of an interface I need to
run a binary for each interface. So, I have to get to know the exact part of
code which gets to know the status of the interfaces and instead of knowing
like that I will execute my binary there. How do I do this?
(2) I am having 3 partitions in my target, namely (i)part1 (ii)part2 and
(iii)part3.
I have written in my configuration file
disk /part1 90%
disk /part2 90%
disk /part3 90%
monitor -r 60 -S -o dskPath -o dskErrorMsg "dskTable Full" dskErrorFlag !=
0.
I think that I wont get separate traps for scenario------part1-->goes above
90% & after some time part2--->goes above 90% and after some time part3--->
goes above 90%. How can I make this possible?
I think the behaviour is after part1>90% trap is sent, and till part1 comes
below 90%, no traps for dskPath will be sent for part2 and part3(even if
they cross 90%) as I could get from "man snmpd.conf". I could not confirm
this as its not working yet on my target :-( Any idea, where I am going
wrong in the above step?
(3) Also, I have to monitor if any of the usage in these partitions crosses
96%. Can I do another monitor with dskPath in sanmpd.conf withe the above
where it is tracking for 90%? How?
Thanks immensly
Thanks and Regards,
zix
