Thanks for your help. Actually this is a printable octet string.

I have used "NOTIFICATION-MIB:RegId s sip-gw" and it does not work with
the following error.

2010-06-21 11:34:30 NOTIFICATION-MIB:RegId s sip-gw: Unknown Object
Identifier ( )

A binary octet string, or a printable octet string?

Try using "NOTIFICATION-MIB:RegId s sip-gw" instead.

Other comments:
   - that's not actually a legal name for a MIB object
      Try running your NOTIFICATION-MIB through "smilint" or some
similar checker

   - the payload varbinds would normally include an instance
subidentifier
     (i.e. similar to what you'd use with "snmpget")
