The errors seem to spontaneously show up, and when they do they alternate forever (at about 15 sec intervals). No external SNMP queries or walks are occurring in the background. I am running some DISMAN link monitors with an associated internal V3 user as described in the man pages: createUser _internal MD5 <password> rouser _internal iquerySecName _internal notificationEvent linkUpTrap linkUp ifIndex ifAdminStatus ifOperStatus notificationEvent linkDownTrap linkDown ifIndex ifAdminStatus ifOperStatus monitor -r 5 -e linkUpTrap "Generate linkUp" ifOperStatus != 2 monitor -r 5 -e linkDownTrap "Generate linkDown" ifOperStatus == 2 None of that appears to be related to any COUNTER64 activity, so this smells like an internal MIB data fill issue to me. Could the monitors be slurping data I'm not aware of? Thanks, Ron The information contained in this message may be privileged and confidential and protected from disclosure.
