RE: SNMP SET of sysLocation and sysContact

Hi, Yes, that's what I'm doing (killall snmpd). How do you terminate properly? I tried snmp stop but when I check the running processes, I can see snmpd running. I want it not running sometimes. Do you know how to terminate it gracefully? I can see that /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf updates everytime I set syslocation and syscontact. The problem now is when I restart the machine (power off then power on). The values in /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf resets. In my snmpd.conf inside SNMPCONFPATH, I defined the following tokens psyslocation and psyscontact. These fields doesn't get updated everytime I set these. I even tried removing these fields completely. Still, the values in /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf resets. Thanks!!
