OK - so the firewall was part of the problem.

But there's clearly something else - probably access control

a)  Tell us what you *can* see
         (system group?  other bits of mib2?  anything under ucdavis
or netSnmp?)

b)  Read the FAQ entries about access control

c)  Tell us what sort of operating system you are using
      (I'm assuming Linux, but you've never actually said!)

oh, and

d)  send a message once (not three times)
