thanks for the advice, but unless I am looking in the wrong place I
can't seem to find a MIB that fits this description..

snmpwalk -v 1 -c cci-ro 3par interfaces  | grep diskIOTable

returns nothing.

thanks for the suggestion, but still on the road to getting this done.
