Would you mind giving us a bit more information to work with? What platform, what net-snmp version, what's the output of "net-snmp-config --configure-options", what's your run-time configuration (snmpd.conf and command-line options), what queries do you perform during those 5 hours, how exactly do you see the leak, can you also reproduce it without your application code and so on.
