Hi,

(I am all new to the snmp itself, let alone net-snmp implementation).
I would like to use netsnmp to monitor and manage a cluster of 180
linux-based appliances and wondered about whether it is possible to extend
netsnmp in the following way: I want to to set up a listener (using python
bindings) so when a specific configuration request arrives the python
program will parse and perform the action.

I am almost sure it is possible, yet, being new to this stuff, I wondered if
i can get a hint or directions form the community which will help me
starting this.

Thanks,

Tzury
