Quick fix - edit "man/Makefile" and replace 'grep -vE' with 'egrep -v' in the
block 'manaliases'

Proper fix - edit "man/Makefile.in" and replace 'grep -vE' with '@EGREP@ -v'
in the same block.  Then re-run configure and recompile.
