Re: Understanding snmpwalk

I'm using net-snmp-5.6.rc1, and I've implemented scalars and table oids modules on my agent.
 
Everything works fine, I can issue snmpget, snmpgetnext, snmpset,
 
one of the tables is as following:
 
MyTable (1)
|--TableEntry (1)
       |    Index: RowIndex
       |--------- Integer32 RowIndex (1)
       |---CR -- String AlarmType(1)
       |---CR -- String AlarmDescription (2)
 
if I issue snmpwalk like so
 
$snmpwalk -v1 -cprivate localhost MyTable
 
the agent displays the contents of the table, but it hangs for a while, and later I get
 
Timeout: No response from localhost
 
then the snmpd shutsdown.
 
Is this normal?
