administrator@mta1:~> snmpwalk -v2c -c asp localhost mtaReceivedMessages
MTA-MIB::mtaReceivedMessages = No Such Object available on this agent at
this OID

And here to show you that net-snmp is running at all

administrator@mta1:~> snmpwalk -v2c -c asp localhost sysUpTime.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (8393943) 23:18:59.43
