Hi,

I am using net-snmp-5.4.2.1 on a linux target.

1) When i do a snmpwalk on interfaces mib, only ifNumber value is got.

# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public <snmpd agent ip> interfaces
IF-MIB::ifNumber.0 = INTEGER: 0

I am not able to get any values of ifTable(ifIndex, ifDescr, ifType etc).

Is this because the ifNumber value is 0?

2) Also, in the net-snmp site, it is said that ifTable is supported for
linux from net-snmp-5.2 version. But, I am not able to retrieve any values
of ifTable.

# snmpget -v 2c -c public <snmpd agent ip> interfaces.2.1.1.0
interfaces.2.1.1.0: Unknown Object Identifier (Index out of range: 0
(ifIndex))

Could anyone please let me know why I am not able to retrieve the values for
ifTable from net-snmp?
