Hi, I am using net-snmp-5.4.2.1 on a linux target. 1) When i do a snmpwalk on interfaces mib, only ifNumber value is got. # snmpwalk -v 2c -c public <snmpd agent ip> interfaces IF-MIB::ifNumber.0 = INTEGER: 0 I am not able to get any values of ifTable(ifIndex, ifDescr, ifType etc). Is this because the ifNumber value is 0? 2) Also, in the net-snmp site, it is said that ifTable is supported for linux from net-snmp-5.2 version. But, I am not able to retrieve any values of ifTable. # snmpget -v 2c -c public <snmpd agent ip> interfaces.2.1.1.0 interfaces.2.1.1.0: Unknown Object Identifier (Index out of range: 0 (ifIndex)) Could anyone please let me know why I am not able to retrieve the values for ifTable from net-snmp? -- Shoma ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [email protected] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
