IF -MIB set problem

HI All,
I am doing set for if mib
I am getting following error
could someone help me out
snmpset -v 2c -c private 172.16.8.83 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.9 i 2
Error in packet.
Reason: resourceUnavailable (This is likely a out-of-memory failure
within the agent)
Failed object: IF-MIB::ifAdminStatus.9
