The standard way of doing this would be to define the MIB object using a syntax that involved a suitable DISPLAY-HINT ("d-1") There's an example of this in the SMI specification document (RFC 2579, section 3.1) Unfortunately, given that this particular UPS MIB object was not defined in this way, you'll either have to tweak your personal copy of the MIB file (hence making it non-standard!), or use a script to process the output. But DISPLAY-HINT is the standard mechanism for handling this.
