Hello, Has someone been able to use ssh as a transport method for snmp? I for one found it restricted to only one ssh user (which has to be named hardaker, probably after Wes Hardaker). I have followed the steps on the snmpd manual, but still I wasn't able to get it working properly. And nothing useful in the SNMP log either. This is what I get at the better times: hardaker@rollcage:~$ snmpget -Y defSecurityModel=tsm -v 3 -u hardaker -l authNoPriv -a MD5 -A testtest ssh:127.0.0.1:22 sysUpTimeNo log handling enabled - using stderr logging failed rfc5343 contextEngineID probing snmpget: Session abort failure (Sub-id not found: (top) -> sysUpTime) If anyone has any pointers on how to use ssh as a transport method for this, please help.
