Problem in init_snmp in visual c++ (and Qt)

I compiled net-snmp with visual c++.
I try to run sample program in Qt after including generated libraries.
But when program reaches init_snmp("pract");
It terminates giving message "pract.exe exited with code -1073741515"
Why is init_snmp required? What should be the input argument for this
function?
