Hello everybody I found a lot about multithreading support for net-snmp lib eg in your README file [1] and on your mailing list [2]. I'm working on a software that has hundreds of parallel running threads and many of them use SNMPv3 and others SNMPv2. Now, I'm having a short question: Is SNMPv3 multithreading support tested and recommended to use in any release? [3] says nothing about that. Thanks and let me know if you need further information Marco Gerber [1] http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/README.thread.html [2] http://www.mail-archive.com/search?l=net-snmp-users%40lists.sourceforge.net&q=multithreading+SNMPv3 [3] http://www.net-snmp.org/docs/NEWS.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ultimate all-in-one performance toolkit: Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE: Pinpoint memory and threading errors before they happen.
