Hi,

When I try to start the snmpd "/usr/local/etc/rc.d/snmpd start" or
"/usr/local/sbin/snmpd -c /etc/snmpd.config -A", I get the following
error in snmpd.log :

getaddrinfo("216.113.32.1", NULL, ...): hostname nor servname provided,
or not known
Error opening specified endpoint "216.113.32.1:161"
Server Exiting with code 1

I could not find anything on this error except to check /etc/hosts

my hostname : fw.mydomain.ca

copy of /etc/hosts :

#::1            localhost localhost.targo.ca
127.0.0.1        localhost localhost.targo.ca
10.5.14.222        fw.mydomain.ca fw
10.5.14.222        fw.mydomain.ca.

Thank for your help.
