DLINK MIB

Hi,

I guess this question has been asked thousands of times...
Unfortunately am quite lost and feel like I have to ask one more time:

How to add a mib to the net-snmp clients?
Of course I know the basics and have search round the web but
unfortunately it doesn't with this MIB.

I downloaded the MIB for DGS-1210-16 switches from the DLINK website
(got a file named DGS-1210-16_AX_2_00_004.mib)
and stored this mibfile to ~/.snmp/mibs

I also addedthe following line to ~/.snmp/snmp.conf:
mibs +DGS-1210-16_AX

the string "DGS-1210-16_AX" being taken from the begining of the mib
file (after comments):
        DGS-1210-16_AX DEFINITIONS ::= BEGIN

when trying the walk the MIB with

snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 1.2.3.4

I only get numeric OIDs and the floowing message:

MIB search
path: /home/alxgomz/.snmp/mibs:/usr/share/mibs/site:/usr/share/snmp/mibs:/usr/share/mibs/iana:/usr/share/mibs/ietf:/usr/share/mibs/netsnmp
Cannot find module (DGS-1210-16_AX): At line 1 in (none)
iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "DGS-1210-16          2.00.011"
iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 = OID: iso.3.6.1.4.1.171.10.76.9

I have tried renaming the mib file to .txt or no extension at all. Also
tried to store files in server wide location (/usr/share/mibs/netsnmp)
or use export MIBS variable instead of using cfg file... to no avail.

Any help would highly appreciated
