In which case, it would make more sense to trigger the IPC call from
within the MIB handler routine, where it would be specific to the code
for these MIB object(s)
   Trying to handle this from within the core agent framework would
trigger the IPC call for *all* SET requests - even those completely
unrelated to this particular area.
