Hi,
I would like to prevent the snmp_log messages of LOG_DEBUG severity in the
syslog.
I am using the below command to start the snmpd:
snmpd -Ls 0-4 d -Lf /var/log/snmp1.log -p /var/run/snmpd.pid -a
But still the LOG_DEBUG messages are observed in syslog.
Can some one help me out with the options??
>From the manpage I could see:
-L <LOGOPTS>
[FS] p1-p2 token: log to file/syslog for levels 'p1' to 'p2'
0 or ! for LOG_EMERG,
1 or a for LOG_ALERT,
2 or c for LOG_CRIT,
3 or e for LOG_ERR,
4 or w for LOG_WARNING,
5 or n for LOG_NOTICE,
6 or i for LOG_INFO, and
7 or d for LOG_DEBUG.
I am using net-snmp 5.6.1.
I am getting the debug logs like (daemon.debug: error on subcontainer ''
insert (-1)") in the syslog.
Regards,
Jagadeesh
