Hello,

I am installing net-snmp on aix 5.2, 5.3 and 6.1 using a tarball of a
previously compiled net-snmp. Net-snmp does not start on the aix 5.2 and
6.1 systems. I believe the problem is caused by the incorrect version of
the libcrypto.a fille. When starting snmpd no errors reported but when I
perform an snmpwalk library error messages occur. I am running
Openssl-0.9.6 on aix 5.2. Any ideas on how to correct?

cpugh@sppgw1(/home/cpugh) >>rpm -qa|grep ssl
openssl-0.9.6m-1
openssl-devel-0.9.6m-1
openssl-doc-0.9.6m-1
cpugh@sppgw1(/home/cpugh) >>ps -ef|grep snmp
