Bart,

As an alternative method of using perl I am trying to do this using the 
pass_persist mechanism to invoke an external Perl script  rather than 
using embedded perl. However I am having difficulty with Creating a new 
row using this method. This is captured in another thread I have started 
"Snmp set request with pass_persist"
