snmpd stops responding after some time

Hi All,

I am using net-snmp version 5.4.3 and the openhpi subagent.

At the beginning both snmpd and the subagent were running OK and I was able
to query snmpget/walk on all mibs.
But, after a while (maybe a few hours or few days), snmpd starts becoming
not responsive from time to time.

snmpget -v 2c -c public localhost  system.sysName.0
Timeout: No Response from localhost.

snmpwalk -v 2c -c public localhost  nsModuleName
Timeout: No Response from localhost

In the "netstat -a" output:
udp    12096      0 *:snmp                  *:*     // I assume snmpd
listens on this udp port(161)
unix  2      [ ACC ]     STREAM     LISTENING     1139
/var/agentx/master
unix  3      [ ]             STREAM     CONNECTED     1404
/var/agentx/master

I could see both snmpd & subagent running in the "ps" output.

Also in the syslog (corresponding to snmpd) I couldn't see any "Connection
from UDP:" messages which I used to see for successful requests.

Please let me know how to proceed in debugging this issue in net-snmp?
