Hi All I'ma newbie of the net-snmp package. I need to run a snmp bridge agent on a target board ARM based. I have noticed that under the local directory there is a pl module that could be really useful to my purpose. Anyway I need to enable the Perl support when cross-compiling. At the moment I can succesfully cross compile the perl package and net-snmp without perl support. I took a look at the 'configure' parameters but I did'n understand what option must be enabled to use perl from the agent. I cannot understand what the --with-perl-modules does. Is it enough to use the --enable-embedded-perl? I'm trying to cross compile the 5.7 version. Is there any?way to easily port net-snmp with perl support on a different cpu architecture than i386? Am I missing anything Any help will be greatly appreciated.
