If you want finer control over the settings for trap destinations, then use the 'trapsess' directive, rather than the simple 'trapsink' family. This takes the full range of command-line options, including timeout and retransmission settings. Basically, pretend that you're sending the notification from the command line using "snmptrap", and use the same command options for the "trapsess" directive.
