Hello Markus, Yes, you are right! I should have used snmpget as below: [ashok@localhost agent]$ snmpget -v2c -c 'ashok$123' localhost sysUpTime.0 DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (531373) 1:28:33.73 [ashok@localhost agent]$ This ' ' is required only for the community name which as '$' other wise like ashok#123, its not required.
