SNMP SET Question

I would like to use the Net-SNMP library in a C/C++ application to generate an SNMP SET to another device. I've found examples of SNMP GET where an OID is queried in another device but not one where the OID is set. Does anyone know where I could find an example or documentation that describes the library for this functionality?
