Unable to install the perl module NetSNMP.ppd

Hi,

I'm trying to install the net-snmp perl module on windows with ActiveState
perl and I'm running into problems and hope someone can help me.

 

Here are the details:

 

net-snmp-5.7.0-1.x86.exe

ActivePerl-5.14.2.1402-MSWin32-x86-295342  (back level versions are not
available without Business or Enterprise subscriptions)

MS WinXP Pro with SP3 (32bit)

 

Since the ppd requires perl version 5.12 which I am not able to get a hold
of, I followed the instructions on the net-snmp faq and altered the
architecture to 5.14 which allows me to install the ppd.  However, when I
attempt to test it, I get the following error:

 

net-snmp-perl-test.pl results in the following error:

This application has failed to start because perl512.dll was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

 

Any ideas?  I tried looking for perl 5.12 but cannot find a free copy of it.
