What is the command that you are using to send this request? It looks as if it's something like snmpget -v 2c -c rocommunity 172.17.4.3 sysUpTime.0 Have you configured the agent to recognise/accept the community name "rocommunity" ? You'd need a line such as rocommunity rocommunity in the snmpd.conf file.
