Hi, I'm running net-snmp 5.7.0 on a Win 2008R2, with (disabled) MS snmp and enabled winExtDLL. Most things seems to work but I can't get the load monitoring to work. I.e. load 30 10 5 monitor -o laNames -o laErrMessage "laTable" laErrorFlag != 0 doesn't result in any traps. (The directive monitor -r 60 machineTooBusy hrProcessorLoad > 95 Works but I want measurements over time) When I walk the mib I just get the following 6 lines C:\temp>snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.10 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laIndex.1 = INTEGER: 1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laIndex.2 = INTEGER: 2 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laIndex.3 = INTEGER: 3 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laNames.1 = STRING: Load-1 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laNames.2 = STRING: Load-5 UCD-SNMP-MIB::laNames.3 = STRING: Load-15 No laLoad parameters! Is the "load" directive supposed to work on windows? Perhaps I should mention that during snmpd strartup I get the following lines. duplicate registration: MIB modules mibII/snmp and C:\Windows\System32\snmpmib.dll (oid .1.3.6.1.2.1.11). handler registration failed. /Regards Bengt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
