Increase the maxMsgSize for SNMP message

Dear All, Do you know what's the max_msg_size in net-snmp? >From the code: net-snmp/library/snmp_api.h:340:#defineSNMP_MAX_MSG_SIZE .SNMP_MAX_MSG_SIZE=1497. But from my test, I found it can be larger in SNMP response message, by increase the max-repetition, the SNMP message got increased as more OIDs in one message, message could be around 2900, then it will not work bigger then that. What is the bottle neck of the message size? How can we increase this?
