Hi, While trying to redirect the MIB-II system group to my subagent to handle instead of SNMPD handle, the SNMPD ignore ANY check of the community string on any request (meaning any string in the community will be answered). The redirection is done either by the -I-system flag or by using configure flag --with-out-mib-modules="mibII" while compiling net-snmp. When working without the redirection, the SNMPD check the community and work OK (meaning wrong community string will result timeouts). I'm using net-snmp 5.6.1 and sending V1 and V2c requests. I'll appreciate any help on the subject. Thanks Dudi. This email message and any attachments are intended solely for the use of the addressees hereof.
