Hello, I'm using the perl bindings for NetSNMP to implement to the agentx interface (version 5.4.2). I'm having difficulty handling when snmpd restarts. I was wondering is there is a recommended way of handling restarts? I've managed to get notification of when snmpd restarts but getting my long running agentx speaking process to re-register is proving to be difficult. I was thinking of expanding agent.xs to include an unregister method that uses netsnmp_register_handler. Thoughts or comments appreciated. Thank you -- James R.
