Getting the sub agent session after init_agent

Hi,
I need a pointer to the netsnmp_session that is created by init_agent() to handle Agent X callbacks when running as a sub agent.
Call chain:
init_agent()                                                        (snmp_vars.c)
subagent_init()                                                 (subagent.c)
subagent_init_callback_session()             (subagent.c)
netsnmp_callback_open()                           (snmpCallbackDomain.c)

Any ideas, other than replicating the code?

PS: I'm working with version NetSNMP 5.7.1, and resources and budget require that I stick with that version for the time being.

Regards,
Dave
