Hello,
I have installed and started net-snmpd (NET-SNMP version: 5.4.3) with my snmpd.conf file that I used before successfully with version NET-SNMP version: 5.4.1.

After start, on the syslog I can see 2 things:

1./etc/snmp/snmpd.conf: line 85: Error: bad SUBTREE object id
That line 85 refers to entry: view system .iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.system.sysDescr

I have switch that line to something like this: view system 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1

It does not complain any more after /etc/init.d/snmpd restart and I guess this is correct ?

2. iquerySecName has not been configured - internal queries will fail
All I have found in manual for "iquerySecName" is "iquerySecName NAME"

This is very useless explanation for me. Sounds like some "Security Name". Im not really sure what is that used for. Seems that in previous version it was not implemented ?
What can I do about that ? Anybody knows ?

BR,
czezz
