I can't run NET-SNMP-5.7.0-1.x86 as a service in Windows XP

I install Net-Snmp in my windows XP host, using the .exe files downloaded from sourceforge site. The problem is, at the end of the installation process, I type in the cmd c:\usr\registeragent.bat to start the service and aparently it succeed

  
But when I try to test the service by doing a snmwalk, I obtained an error
  

Viewing that, I go to services and start the NET-SNMP service, but inmediately appears an error window that says that snmpd has encountered an error and must be closed; so it never starts and can't be used  

I also have a .exe installer (net-snmp-5.6.1.1-1.x86) but it didn't work when I itry to install it. I would like someone can help me saying what could be the error, if I forgot some steps. I really need to run this program on my computer, to use snmpv3 features. Just in case, I googled and also searched in net-snmp page and I couldn't find anything about a problem like I'm having.
Please help me as soon as possible, it's very urgent and thanks in advance.
