Hi, I'm using net-snmp V 5.6.1. In our project, we have a system that allow read/write of the data upon the user access privilege. Each branch of the system data has a different access type according to the user, so we cannot set one access level (as read or writre) per all our data. We want to create SNMP v3 users that will be able to access the data and set/get it by their user permissions (which are pre-defined in the system). I can see that in every request handler I'm getting in the subagent code, the reqinfo-asp-session has these fields but they are all empty (NULL or "" for a char*). I would like to use these fields to get the specific user data from client and determine the access level for this user at the subagent according to its request. My question is there any compilation flag that will enable this data in the subagent? If not, how can I propagate the SNMP v3 user name from the SNMPD to the subagent? Any other idea that will enable me to know the specific user that send this request in the subagent level? Thanks in advance, Dudi Bickel.
