Re: segfault in net-snmp

I suggest you inspect the core file under gdb. Once you have the back trace,
post it here which might help us debug this further.

>gdb /usr/sbin/snmpd core.snmpd.<n>

Hi all,
 
I found something in my RED HAT machine :
 
Net-snmp version : 5.7.2.rc1
 
Service snmpd status
snmpd dead but subsys locked
 
cat /var/log/messages | grep 'snmp'
Oct 07 13:21:12 1381148472 kernel: snmpd[5718]: segfault at 58 ip b76eace1
sp bfb10df0 error 4 in libnetsnmpmibs.so.30[b7624000+145000]
 
Can anyone tell me how to overcome with this issue ? I Πm facing this issue
in every  1 month !!
(please don¹t suggest to upgrade the version)
