It just works, so there isn't much to 'maintain'.

I still use it, primarily because it allows me to write applications
without having to worry about trying to parse text and also to
avoid constantly forking sub-processes just to issue transactions.

For one-ofs, its not important, but if you are issuing thousands of
requests... you really notice it.

Unfortunately SNMP::Session doesn't support V3.
