Clarification for Bug BZ#820850

Hi Team,

We are currently using "net-snmp-5.4.1-5.2". One of the setups we are hitting the negative request ID for the SNMP messages, which is being encoded as 5 bytes instead of 4 bytes.

So we met with a situation where the outgoing SNMP requests are not recognized by some of the clients.

There was a bug "BZ#820850<https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=820850> - https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2012-0674.html " which is relevant to this behavior and got fixed as part of "net-snmp-devel-5.3.2.2-17.el5_8.1.x86_64".

We are not sure bug is ported to the release we are using or the bug fix not fixed the problem.

Please help us to understand the present version we use has the fix available or we need to look for other releases in 5.4.1.x to get rid of the bug.
