I'm trying to run net-snmp 5.6 x86 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. Every time I attempt to run snmpd.exe, I get the following window error: >>>> snmpd.exe has stopped working I'm about to get net-snmp 5.5 x64-bit to work fine. Therefore, I thought it was because of Windows 64-bit. However, when I installed Windows XP Mode and attempted to run net-snmp 5.6 & 5.7, both crashed and failed to run. I'm currently also using... ActivePerl-5.16.3.1604-MSWin32-x64-298023 Things I've tried to resolve this issue are: (1) Configure snmp.conf & snmpd.conf (2) Disable spyware, firewall, and antivirus (3) Verify nothing was running on UDP port 161 (4) Tried with both OpenSSL 32-bit & 64-bit At this point, I'm stumped at what could be causing this issue and would welcome any advice as to how to resolve this issue. Thanks ahead of time! ..............................................
