Re: snmptrapd and mysql

I disabled SELinux and made some progress. The log then gave me " Error 
1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: 
NO)". The password had to be put into the /etc/my.cnf file. Now it is 
working. I am not sure why SELinux got in the way.
