Because snmpwalk is really just sending a series of GETNEXTs until it gets a response that is outside your sample 1 table (when walking that table), then it will eventually get an answer for sections of the mib tree beyond the sample 1 table. If the sample 2 table is the next object in the mib tree, then yes snmpwalk will end up causing the sample 2 table implementation to get hit as the agent searches for an answer to the GETNEXT for the last item in the sample 1 table.
