Snmp walk command usage

Hello,
I'm writing a lw-snmp agent and using netsnmp as well as iReasoning for my
testing. The agent is complete and when i issue the snmp walk command from
iReasoning browser, it works fine. But the same command using net snmp
framework does not work .. this is what is happening..
1. i issue a snmpwalk and the client responds with the correct OID
2. Now, instead of using this received OID and issuing a get-Next command
to receive the next OID, netSnmp instead uses the original OID it used the
first time and sends a get-request command to the client..  i'm not sure
what is going on. Wire shark doesn't show any errors either.
