Hello all,

I’ve created a MIB which contains 2 object Counter1 and Counter2.

Thanks to the mib2c tool, I’ve generated the associated C skeleton and configure, compile and install. I succeeded to retrieve information thanks to snmpget command.

Now, I want to create an agent to poll a shared memory in order to update the associated data and make them available. What is the best way to do it ? Do I have to put the pthread_mutex_lock in the handler function or in the infinite loop and to read the data from the shm ?

By advance, thanks for your help and your advice.

Phil
