Re: NET-SNMP version: 5.8 - v1/ v2 blocked, v3 works

I don't have an address in snmpd.conf.

Here is my snmpd.conf:

# cat nem_snmpd.conf

createUser Simon      MD5 "simon123"
rwuser     Simon

# rocommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-only access community name
rocommunity  public

# rwcommunity: a SNMPv1/SNMPv2c read-write access community name
rwcommunity  private


What puzzles me is why the OID in v3 is found and in v1/v2 it is rejected?!?
