Attempted to compile from service net-snmp-5.9. I have done this before on Raspberry Pi OS (Debian 10 buster) without issue, but attempting to compile on Debian 10 buster on i386 hardware have hit a surprising error. Several shared libraries are not found/loading. Details below. # apt remove --purge snmp snmpd Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Package 'snmp' is not installed, so not removed Package 'snmpd' is not installed, so not removed 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded. # cd /tmp # wget https://sourceforge.net/projects/net-snmp/files/net-snmp/5.9/net-snmp-5.9.tar.gz/download -O net-snmp-5.9.tar.gz # cat /etc/ld.so.conf.d/libc.conf # libc default configuration /usr/local/lib So why are the libraries not loading? Or being found by the snmpd process? _______________________________________________ Net-snmp-users mailing list [email protected] Please see the following page to unsubscribe or change other options: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/net-snmp-users
