Error: security service 3 error parsing ScopedPDU

Hi all,

We are cross-compiling Net-SNMP 5.9.1 for Windows using MinGW-64. On executing snmpget from a manager, we get the following error.

snmpget -v 3 -u user -a SHA -A 12345ucp -x AES -X 12345uce -l authPriv 10.205.21.85 OID

SNMP log on the Windows server reports "security service 3 error parsing ScopedPDU". However, with authNoPriv, it works.

This is the same error mentioned in https://sourceforge.net/p/net-snmp/bugs/2947/ i.e security service 3 error parsing ScopedPDU. Is this now recognized as a known issue ? I do not see any replies on bug 2947 after after 15-12-2020.
Is this issue reproducible by others as well ? Is there a workaround or patch available? Any pointers would be helpful.
