Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, The former letter was nonsense. There is nothing wrong with the RRDs Perl module under an embedded Perl Netsaint. I must have been confused about the meaning of the ABSOLUTE DST or else my amazingly stupid idea of writing a time in the future (by rounding up to the next step size boundary) lead to problems. A service check that uses RRDs::update to add data to an RRD GAUGUE is quite happily doing so under an embedded Perl Netsaint. Yours sincerely. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stanley Hopcroft ------------------------------------------------------------------------ '...No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were. Any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee...' from Meditation 17, J Donne. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
